Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Stratos Compute Pte Ltd for use of the Stratos Compute public cloud and private cloud services.
Last updated 11 September 2026
1. Who we are
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement betweenStratos Compute Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore with its registered office at 143 Cecil Street, #06-02, GB Building, Singapore 069542 (“Stratos Compute”, “we”, “us”), and the organisation or individual that opens an account with us (“Customer”, “you”).
By creating an account, placing an order, or using any part of the Services, you accept these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. The Services
We provide cloud infrastructure in two forms:
- Public cloud — on-demand virtual machines (including GPU-attached instances), block storage, object storage, networking, managed Kubernetes and managed databases, provisioned from capacity we operate and billed by the hour.
- Private cloud — design, deployment and ongoing operation of the same platform on hardware you own or lease, under a separate written order or statement of work that incorporates these Terms.
We may add, change or withdraw individual features. Where a change materially reduces a feature you rely on, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email to your account contact.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for your account, your users, your API credentials, and everything done under them. You must keep credentials confidential and tell us promptly atyeowhua@stratoscompute.com if you believe they have been compromised. We may suspend access to protect the platform or other customers, and will tell you why as soon as we reasonably can.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Services to:
- break any law that applies to you or to us, including Singapore law and applicable export controls and sanctions;
- send unsolicited bulk email, run phishing infrastructure, or distribute malware;
- attack, scan or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, whether ours or a third party’s;
- host content you have no right to host, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
- mine cryptocurrency without our prior written agreement;
- place a load on shared capacity that degrades service for other customers.
We may suspend or terminate resources that breach this section, with notice where the circumstances allow and without notice where they do not.
5. Fees and payment
Public cloud usage is metered hourly and rated against the price plan applied to your account. List prices are published at stratoscompute.com/#pricing in US dollars and exclude tax, which is added to the invoice where the law requires it.
We invoice monthly in arrears for the previous month. Invoices are due on receipt unless your order says otherwise. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe; you authorise us to charge the payment method on file for amounts due. Bank transfer is available for invoiced accounts; billing questions go tofinance@stratoscompute.com.
If an invoice is unpaid, we may charge interest at 1% per month on the overdue amount, suspend the account after written notice, and — where an account stays unpaid — delete the resources and the data on them. Data deleted after non-payment cannot be recovered.
Prices may change on 30 days’ notice. A price change never applies retroactively to usage already incurred.
6. Your data
You keep all rights in the data and content you put on the Services (“Customer Data”). You grant us only the licence needed to host, transmit and back up Customer Data in order to run the Services. We do not use Customer Data to train models and we do not sell it. Our handling of personal data is described in ourPrivacy Policy.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process the personal data you place on the Services, and for taking your own backups. Snapshots and volume backups are a feature you control, not a service we run on your behalf unless your order says so.
7. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but the Services are provided without an availability commitment unless a service level agreement is agreed in writing as part of your order. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practicable. Support is provided by email during Singapore business hours; response commitments, where they exist, are set out in your order.
8. Term, suspension and termination
Public cloud accounts run until you close them. You may stop using the Services at any time by deleting your resources and closing your account; you remain liable for usage up to that point. Private cloud engagements run for the term stated in the order.
Either party may terminate for material breach that is not fixed within 30 days of written notice. On termination we will make Customer Data available for export for 14 days, after which it is deleted.
9. Warranties and liability
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Services are provided “as is” and we exclude all other warranties to the extent the law permits.
Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with at least reasonable care, use it only for the purposes of these Terms, and disclose it only to people who need it and are bound by equivalent obligations, or where disclosure is required by law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes are notified by email to your account contact at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
