How Stratos Compute Pte Ltd collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this site or use our cloud services.

1. Who is responsible
Stratos Compute Pte Ltd, 143 Cecil Street, #06-02, GB Building, Singapore 069542, is the organisation responsible for the personal data described in this policy. We handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), and with the GDPR where it applies to a customer established in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
Privacy questions and requests: yeowhua@stratoscompute.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data — name, work email, phone number, organisation name, billing address and tax identifiers, given when an account or an order is created.
- Authentication data — the identifier issued by your identity provider when you sign in through OpenID Connect. We do not store passwords.
- Usage and billing records — which resources ran, for how long, and the charges derived from them.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe. Card numbers are sent directly to Stripe and never reach our servers; we keep only the last four digits, card brand, and the payment reference needed to reconcile an invoice.
- Technical logs — IP address, timestamps, user agent and API actions, recorded for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
- Correspondence — emails and support requests you send us.
We do not inspect the content of the workloads, volumes or object storage you run on the Services, except where we must to investigate a security incident or comply with a legal order.
3. Why we use it
- to provide, operate and support the Services (performance of our contract with you);
- to meter usage, issue invoices and take payment (contract and legal obligation);
- to keep the platform secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interest);
- to meet accounting, tax and regulatory obligations in Singapore (legal obligation);
- to send service notices such as maintenance, incident and billing emails (contract).
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use Customer Data to train machine-learning models.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors, each bound by contract to protect the data:
- Stripe — payment processing and card storage;
- Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery for this website;
- Email and support providers — delivery of transactional and support email;
- Our accountants and professional advisers, where needed for tax and audit.
We also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Should the business be sold or reorganised, data may pass to the acquirer subject to this policy.
5. Where data is stored
Customer workloads on our public cloud run in Singapore. Account, billing and support data may be processed by the providers above outside Singapore; where that happens we rely on the contractual protections required by the PDPA and, for EEA and UK data, on Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data — for the life of the account, then 12 months.
- Invoices and accounting records — 5 years, as Singapore tax law requires.
- Technical and security logs — up to 12 months.
- Customer Data on deleted resources — removed on deletion; backups roll off within 30 days.
7. Security
Access to production systems requires single sign-on and is limited to staff who need it. Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, secrets are held in a managed secret store, and administrative actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay if a breach affects your personal data.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it, and you may withdraw consent where we relied on it. Write toyeowhua@stratoscompute.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore, or to your local supervisory authority in the EEA or UK.
9. Cookies
This marketing website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The customer console sets cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in.
10. Changes
We will post any update to this policy on this page and change the “last updated” date. Material changes are also emailed to account contacts.
